1. X to be the antithesis of sth Y
X是Y的對立面、對照
e.g. The company represented the antithesis of everything he admired.
那家公司與他所崇尚的一切完全相反.
2. X to be in stark contrast to Y
X和Y有顯著的差異
e.g. Jason's personality is in stark contrast to his sister's.
(也可以用 stands in stark contrast to)
3. deviate from 偏離、背離
e.g. Make sure that your essay doesn't deviate from the topic.
你必須確保你的文章不離題。
4. tease apart 區分、梳理清楚
e.g. The article suggests that time and memory are so tightly intertwined that they may be difficult to tease apart.
此文章指出， 時間和記憶緊密相連到很將它們去分開。
5. bring sth to light 揭露、讓人清楚知道
e.g. The article brings to light many interesting facts about the music industry.
此文章揭露了很多有關音樂產業的有趣資訊。
